Troy Stetina's Guitar Camp 2026 is an elite, small-group experience for players ready to push past plateaus, refine their technique, and step out to the next level of performance.

With only 10 participants accepted, this is not your “sit in the back and watch” kind of camp.

Players get 1:1 support, with coaching and personalized feedback throughout the week directly with master instructor and virtuoso performer Troy Stetina.

You will dive into the mechanics of great guitar playing: setting a vision to achieve tighter rhythm work, cleaner execution, stronger phrasing, effortless picking, greater endurance and stage confidence... the mindset required to perform under pressure.

And between the activities, relax and enjoy the high desert splendor in a 5 star retreat! Whether it's hanging out at the pool and spa, hiking the 200+ acre expanse, or star gazing in ideal viewing conditions. Also, you'll be enjoying a variety of catered cuisine. All included!

Want to share this getaway with a friend or relative? Add an in-room, non-participant guest to enjoy all the amenities, drop in to the group activities as desired, or simply lay in the sun with a cold drink. Bring a friend, relative, or spouse. It's a win/win!

The main event culminates on Saturday night, with participants sharing the stage for a public performance at the area amphitheater. It's the Metal Madness festival!

Take the stage and put your efforts to the test, with the headliner act, Troy Stetina's band "Bridge of Silence."

Each participant has an opportunity to perform on stage side by side with Troy, and backed by drummer Chris Moore and vocalist Eric Scott.

Schedule of Events

Day 1: Monday October 12th

Check in, meet & greet, and orientation session. We kick off the week by connecting with fellow players, setting personal goals for the week, and preparing for the intensity that follows. Mindset is critical to long term growth, so we will address this critical element first.

Day 2: Tuesday October 13th

Morning session: How plateaus work, targeting each player's trouble areas for breakthrough.

Evening session: Initial set list and defining the learning process.

(A specially selected movie will be presented—required viewing for all. We'll let you guess.)

Day 3: Wednesday October 14th

Morning session: Individualized instruction on chosen songs, targeted technique.

Evening session: Identify the stages of learning, next steps for each player. Q&A and jam session.

Day 4: Thursday October 15th

Morning session: Drilling into tone, endurance, rhythmic flow plus strategies for better song memorization.

Evening session: Q&A and jam session.

Day 5: Friday October 16th

Morning session: Final songlist and review of strengths and weaknesses.

Evening session: Live band rehearsal

Day 6: Saturday October 17th

Pit Park Amphitheater set up and soundcheck, followed by a public performance at Metal Madness 2026 from 6pm-8pm.

Day 7: Sunday October 18th

Outgoing accomplishments review. 12pm departure.

Feel the Mystery and the Magic

We all know there is just something special, magical, about getting into the energy of the group vibe. Something mysterious happens when creative people get together and begin to make music... and it's just not the same as a Zoom call!

Spend a week with the legend that wrote Speed Mechanics for Lead Guitar (dubbed the "shredders Bible") and the million+ selling Troy Stetina Series methods. Troy has literally inspired a generation of guitarists toward the same level of mastery he personally attained.

Hang out with Troy, his band, and the other players. Soak in the energy, gain new insights, inspirations, and ideas. And expect a few surprise activities! This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

What's Included in Your Registration

Lodging Options:

We have a variety of accommodations, both onsite and offsite. Onsite options include 1 suite in the main house (Master King Suite) plus 4 rooming options in the guest house. Additionally, offsite lodging options are available.

Food:

Food will be supplied as this is a catered event. However, you are free to drive to area restaurants as you like, and/or bring food back to the location. There are full kitchens in both the main house and in the guest house. Breakfast options and snacks will be stocked as well.

Amenities:

Participants and their guests are free to use the amenities on the grounds including the pool and spa. And if you enjoy desert hiking, there are 200+ acres available to roam, as well as numerous mountain trails nearby.

What is NOT included: Your transportation to the retreat.

The nearest international airport is El Paso, Texas (ELP), which is approximately a 2 hour drive from the retreat location (110 miles). What to Bring

At a Minimum:

You'll need a guitar and a smart phone (or other device that can record and play music) and some extra strings.

*Note: Check with your airline to see if a guitar in a softshell case can be brought as "carry on" luggage. Loosen the strings prior to departure. If your airline will not allow it as carry on, you will want to bring it as "checked" baggage in a hardshell case. If bringing your guitar is a problem, you may be able to borrow one from us. Email us ahead of time to arrange this.

Additional Items:

If you have a very small practice amp—or better yet, a digital device with headphones for practice—this will be helpful. There will be at least 3 amps available at the retreat to be shared among participants. And of course, practice with no amp (just the acoustic sound of the strings) is also useful, and a strategy that will be discussed at the camp for the unique benefits it offers. Finally, the performance backline will include Troy's Engl Special Edition for participants. So bring a small practice system if you can, but know that it isn't a requirement.

International Students

International participants are welcome. Attendees are responsible for obtaining any required passports, visas, travel authorizations, and travel insurance. Upon request, Guitar Camp 2026 can provide a letter confirming event registration and participation.

🔻 REGISTRATION OPTIONS

There are only five onsite participant accommodations. If an accommodation is sold, it will show as "unavailable" at checkout. Accommodations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

*NOTE: Our retreat property has been on the market for approximately 2 years and currently remains for sale. In the event that a sale were to occur BEFORE Sep 12th and the new owners not amenable to rental, the event will be moved. In that case, all onsite accommodation registrations will be refunded the difference to the OFFSITE price and you would need to seek one of the offsite accommodations below. This is unlikely but possible. If no sale has occurred by Sep 12th, our rental is locked in.

Choice 1: The MASTER KING SUITE

Take the helm for the full, confidence-boosting experience. Luxuriate in the King Suite of the main house, with an optional "add on" area for additional guests (see below).

Includes: King bed in main house with large, stone walk-in shower, gas fireplace, amazing views and more.

Cost: $4699

Add-a-Guest Options:

Add a non-participant guest to share the MASTER KING SUITE for an add on charge for food, amenities, and admission to activities as a non-participant. Cost: +$699.

For a larger party, you may also add the upper room (sleeps up to 3 more). Cost is +$699 for the upper room and $699 per guest for food/amenities. Upper room has a separate entrance/exit and half bath.

Note: If a guest will also be a Participant, do NOT add them as 'guest'. Instead, purchase a separate OFFSITE registration and simply let us know they will be rooming with you at no extra charge.

MASTER KING SUITE

Choice 2: The Guest House Suite A

This suite features a king bed with attached bathroom in the guest house. Smaller than the Master King suite, but comfortably-sized and with direct pool side access.

Cost: $4399

Add-on option:

Add a guest to share this suite for an extra charge to cover all food, use of amenities, and admission to activities as a non-participant. Cost: +$699

Note: If a guest will also be a Participant, do NOT add them as 'guest'. Instead, purchase a separate OFFSITE registration and simply let us know they will be rooming with you at no extra charge.

Choice 3: The Guest House Suite B

This smaller suite also features a king bed with attached bathroom in the guest house, but it further from the pool and opens into the common area (kitchen/dining). *Note that the smaller bed in image will be replaced with king for the event.

Add a guest to share this suite for an extra charge to cover all food, use of amenities, and admission to activities as a non-participant. Cost: +$699

This registration includes admission to all participation events at the retreat, as well as the activities, amenities and catered food on the premises. It does NOT include lodging (sleeping accommodations) or transportation to and from the camp location or amphitheater.
