The Secret Sauce!
As an ongoing private student of Troy, I was so excited to see the release of his Fretboard Mapping System. I have had to learn through hard knocks and private coaching that ear training was the missing key in my extensive background. In short, my mechanical skills had far outgrown my "natural" ear ability. While your ear does develop as you play more and more music, Troy has taken this "unconscious, haphazard" approach for everyone...broken it down and laid it out in a thorough, logical and dedicated manner. I'm following the system and APPLYING everything into my daily practice regimen. The results have already exceeded my expectations. My ear is responding in ways that almost seem magical! I'm zoning in on the right melodic notes far more easily. I'm demonstrating a growing command over the fretboard. My ability to improvise over a given chord progression has significantly improved.
